Do you find every time you squat, lunge run or go up stairs you get that nagging knee pain? It's annoying but doesn't feel worse enough to seek help?

There can be some simple solutions in decreasing this pain. Sometimes where there is pain, this means this area is the solution for the weakness around, it is doing the work for the muscles that may not be as strong or working as effeciently.

Knee pain can be a result of poor ankle mobility, poor form, weakness in the hamstrings, calves or glutes. The best place to start is addressing one area first to see if this helps decrease the pain.

The first place i always start with people is their ankles, if we lack ankle mobility this can cause compensation else where.

Try the kettlebell ankle mobility drill to increase movement in the ankles, aim for 10 reps each side for 2 sets. You can do this prior to your workouts or every second day
